Amazon lets us have a 'paid' application for free everyday!
First thing you need to do is download the Amazon Appstore here. This not only gives you an option other than the Android Market, but you can also check for and download your Free App of the Day (FAOTD).
Now, Amazon hasn't perfected the art of pleasing everyone so there are going to be apps that you might find to be obsolete, but there are some *really good* ones, as well. I've seen Monopoly, Horoscope HD Pro, Airport Mania First Flight, and Airport Mania 2: Wild Trips. Nothing's better than getting a great (and sometimes expensive) app for free.
